It has thus far been a very productive weekend. We started painting the deck last weekend, but ran out of time and paint. So this weekend we're working on finishing it. Yesterday Steve and I finished the painting. It looks SO much better. It's awesome! We took down all the old broken, gross, and falling apart wooden trellis that was around the deck and we are putting up white plastic trellis in its place.
After painting yesterday, I got my homework done. It took me an hour to do the first catalog record. I'm taking Organization & Representation of Multimedia Resources this summer and our first assignment was to create catalog records for three "books" (It was a power point with representations of the three made up books). Once I got back into the swing of cataloging the other two records went real quick.
After homework was done we watched two episodes of TNG Season 4. I love TNG.
Today Steve is putting up the trellis around the deck, it is looking SO good. I'll post pictures once it's done. It's like having a whole new deck. Just amazing what a coat of paint and a little update will do. I've been cleaning the inside of the house. I've got the litter boxes cleaned, and the whole area around it swept and cleaned. I swept around the whole house, did laundry, cleaned the kitchen, dining room, living room, guest room and our bedroom. The more I think about it the more I want to get rid of the twin bed in the spare room and get a full size for there. Just because most of the company we have is married and a twin is just not adequate. I think we'll probably sell it at the garage sale (whenever we actually do that).
I've vacuumed, vacu-dusted, and used the pet hair sweeper. I fully endorse the pledge fabric pet hair sweeper. I don't endorse throwing it away once it's full like they recommend because I think it's wasteful. It's pretty easy to take off a roller and empty the container to use again. It really does do as good a job as the commercials say. And for $5 you can't beat it!
Now I have to make some lunch and probably do some basic grocery shopping. I love productive weekends!
I realized that there were quite a few things left out of my journal what with me being busy with the new house, housewarming party, new kitties, and vacation. I've backdated a few entries with what has happened, so that things stay in the order they should be.
In other news, I'm fully recovered from the swine flu, and have started summer school. I'm down to 5 classes & comps to finish this degree. I think I'm going to be done for good once I get this degree. I'm getting too old for school, and really I'm just tired of taking classes and having to work for grades. The semester off was really nice, and it's going to be extra nice once I'm done for good.
Hopefully once I'm done I can either just be happy with the job I have and work here forever, or I'll find a great job at the public library that I can be happy in forever. There are things I really love about working at the university (decent benefits, longevity pay, etc.), but there are also things that kinda suck (raises based on government, politics, etc). But then again, you're going to have issues with any job you have...there is no super perfect job out there. I also think it would be super fun to work at the Downtown library with Patrick & Lisa. But I have friends here that I like working with. So which do I choose? Guess it all depends if there are any job openings at the public library that I like, and how much does it pay, and benefits. I get paid well here, I have no complaints there.
choices choices...
Moving on...we went to see Star Trek in IMAX. That movie was amazing. OMG I want to go see it again. The actor choice for Spock was good, but I still couldn't help thinking in the back of my mind "OMG it's Sylar, run!". LOL. I really want to do a Star Trek Movie marathon...only problem is I don't have them. :( Must get the Star Trek movies.
Also, the newest Anita Blake vampire hunter novel came out on June 2nd...I bought it on the 3rd and finished it on the 7th. It really is classic Anita Blake, there's really only two small sex scenes and it's really Edward heavy. It was an amazing book and I really cant' wait until the next book. I hope it comes out soon!! Though with this one just coming out, I think I may have a while to wait. Boo.
I really am excited about Harry Potter & the Half Blood Prince coming to theatres on July 15th. I may take the time to re-read the book before the movie comes out. I know I have class work and readings to do for that, but it shouldn't take too long to re-read HBP. All the previews I've seen for the movie make me so uber excited. I'm still disappointed they pushed the release date back to summer rather than last winter, but it's almost time and I'm ready!! Only two more movies left....I hope we don't have to wait too long for them!
Well back to work I suppose! Later peeps!
Vacation to Yellowstone was a blast!! We had so much fun. We visited nearly every part of the park, went down the the Grand Tetons, spent one night at a rustic cabin near Old Faithful, got up super early to see all sorts of wildlife in the "pretty" light and went to the Louis & Clark Caverns. The caverns were super cool. It was a 1/2 mile hike up the side of the mountain to the entrance, then once you were inside there were rock slides to go down, little nooks and crannies to climb through and it was one of the coolest caverns I've been to. You didn't really get dirty, but you were right there up in the cavern crawling around things. And I got to see bats!!
On to the pictures here: http://pics.livejournal.com/willow_drag
Be sure to read the captions as you go.
Well we got back from vacation on the 23rd, flew back from Montana with a layover in Minneapolis, MN. We got into Nashville around 9pm and then finally made it back to the house around Midnight. Got stuff inside, went to bed. Sunday I did grocery shopping, cleaned up, put things away and played with the kitties.
Monday I had a little bit of a sore throat, but really nothing compared to some sore thoats I've had, so I thought nothing of it. It was really more of a dry feeling than a sore feeling. I went out to lunch with M.E. then we came back to my house for strawberry shortcake for dessert. She went on with her day and I with mine. Late Monday night I had a little cough, but again nothing to complain about.
Tuesday I woke up and felt horrible. I found the thermometer...I had a fever. My body ached all over. I was absolutely sick. Usually when I'm sick it's just for a day, I get over it and I"m back to work the next day. So I call in sick to work on Tuesday, take tylenol, drink plenty of fluids and pretty much sleep most of the day. Steve gets home from work and he goes to get me some cough syrup, theraflu and liquids to drink. I'm hoping that my fever will break overnight and I'll be well enough to go to work the next day.
Wednesday begins. I still have a fever. That's just not right. I head out to the doctor. I get there, see the doctor and he tests me for the flu. I have the flu, they just don't know what type. So they take another sample to send to the TN Health dept to see if I have the H1N1 strain (swine flu). I get my prescription for Tamiflu and go home. The doctor told me that I should stay home for 7 days, so I called work to let them know what the dr said and I call M.E. to let her know I've got the flu since I came into contact with her when I might have been contagious.
Thursday I'm starting to feel better. No more fever, aches & pains are gone. I'm down to a slight cough & head/chest congestion. I did laundry, changed the bed sheets, cleaned up and disinfected all around the house. Steve gets home from work and he's a mess. He has a fever, is sore all over. Crap, he caught exactly what I had. I take him to the dr straight away since his work is not at all lenient regarding missing work.
Friday, Steve and I were both home sick. I still have a little congestion and this nagging cough. Steve feels just OK off and on, but is doing better than he was when he first got home from work on Thursday. I decide that we'll do a Harry Potter marathon and watch all of the movies. Sometime during the 4th movie, the TN Health dept calls me to let me know that I am positive for the H1N1 (Swine) flu virus. I answer her some questions regarding where I think I caught it, my health history, etc. then call work to let them know. I'm sure my co-workers would weather the flu just fine if they did catch it, but the two faculty members have small children and we don't want them to catch it.
And now today, I woke up coughing, but my congestion is now minimal. Steve hasn't had any coughing at all so I'm starting to think I may have a touch of bronchitis due to the influenza virus. And other than just being really lethargic, I'm feeling pretty good. I do hope I'm feeling all better by Monday because I'm getting tired of being at home all day.
Though I feel like it.
I've got the flu. I haven't had the flu in years...I can't even remember the last time I had the flu.
Stupid air travel.
The trip to Montana, Yellowstone & the Grand Tetons was amazing. I can't tell you how gorgeous it was out there. I'd link you to my facebook photo album, but I've facebook locked down so that only friends there can see them. If I'm feeling up to it later I'll upload them here to share.
Now back to your regularly scheduled programming...I'm going to do more resting.
We leave for vacation EARLY tomorrow morning. I really can't wait, it's going to be so exciting. We're going to Montana and Yellowstone, much else really isn't planned. My parents have rented a cabin for the week and we've got a hot tub. So much fun in store for us.
Packing is such a pain though. Especially when you're trying to limit how much you bring. I really don't want to have to check two bags. We're definitely going to have to check Steve's luggage, there's just too much to bring that we can't get away with two carry-on bags.
Guess I'll see you all in about a week!!
Nancy by any other name will still be Nancy to Ella, and I can quite understand that. She did live with him for quite a few months and is quite attached to him. I know she's going to miss him a whole lot, but he has a wonderful home with us.
Steve and I gave much thoughts to names for him, and came to the conclusion that his name should be Riker. (Yes, as in Lt. William Riker from TNG) He has bravado, guts, and is very handsome. A fitting name for a wonderful cat.
Riker and Carmen are getting along better by the day, there are still times when he barely tolerates her presence, but it's not bad.
We're going on vacation next week, so they'll have a whole week without us...they'll work out their issues.
I'm so excited about vacation, we've had this planned for nearly a year now. It'll be my first time going out west. I'm looking forward to seeing my parents and my sister. It's going to be quite an experience!
Carmen went to the vet today to get spayed, she's doing well. I go to pick her up after work today. I'm sure she'll do fine. I'm going to call and check up on her later this afternoon, just cause I'm anxious about my fur-baby.
Nancy was brought to us last night and so far the two kitties are getting on OK. There are some times when they fight, but it's mostly hissing and swatting. No all out brawls. I'm sure they'll learn to tolerate one another. Steve really likes how big he is. He really is a huge kitty. Ella brought me the vet records for him, and he's officially 13.5 lbs. I'm glad the kitties are getting along well too, cause I do really like him.
Afternoon update: I called the vet and Carmen is doing good. She's getting ready to go in for surgery now. They say she's going to be just fine.
Evening update: I picked up Carmen after work, she was a bit groggy and wobbly, but otherwise fine. She was all about eating when she got home. She's going to be fine. I can't wait for the fur on her tummy to grow back...wonder how long that's going to take. All she wants to do is eat and play, she needs to be taking it easy so she doesn't pull out her stitches. Silly girl.
Surprisingly, Nancy is getting on better with Carmen now. I'm glad because I really didn't want to have to separate them while Carmen recovers.
M.E. came by to pick Carmen up to take her to the vet. She got tested, and is free and clear of all kitty diseases. Shots were done and kitty came home. We weren't able to do the spaying that day, but scheduled an appointment for Wednesday to take her for Spaying. I'm glad that she doesn't have FIV or FLV, she's such a sweetheart that I'd hate to have to give her up. I know she's only been with me for a day now, but she's already part of the family.
Ella is coming for a visit tomorrow and bringing a cat from her friend. His name is Nancy, though we don't know if we're going to keep that name or not. Nancy is an OK name, but he's a boy. We'll have to see what his personality is like before we decide. I've seen a picture and he's handsome. I hope Steve likes him.
We had the housewarming party on May 9th (Saturday). It was great fun. All of my friends from here made it, those out of town didn't (but I quite understand). Some of the boys played croquet in the backyard, we drank our hearts out, BBQed and built a fire in the chiminea.
During the party Allison noticed a black and white kitty hanging out around the front of the house. I happened to have some cans of wet kitty food, so I opened one and gave it to her. She was a super sweet kitty. After that first can of food and some pettins, she decided it would be a nice thing to hang out with us for the rest of the party. She came to the backyard with us and hanged out on the deck with us. She was quite content to be there with us, and nothing we did scared her off. We decided that she was super sweet like Boo and Sukitty that her name should be something similar, and in our drunken state came up with Electric Boogaloo. Some of my friendlies were calling her Lexi, but due to some personal issues in Steve's family, probably not the best name. The next day I decided that her full name should be Carmen Electric Boogaloo. We just call her Carmen though.
Anyways, back to the story. M.E. & I decided that if she was there in the morning that I should bring her inside and we'd take her to the vet to get checked out and spayed. Sure enough, next morning Steve and I went out to the backyard, and there she was just hanging out on the deck. She was all ready to come inside too. She just waltzed right on in. But we didn't have any kitty provisions, so out to Wal-mart we went to get cat food, litter and a litter box.
M.E. is coming by tomorrow to pick up Carmen to take her to the vet. We'll see how the testing goes.
I just met my neighbor Linda and her dog Missy (she also has two cats). She's self employed and does healings and sells healing devices. She's also a Reiki healer. She loves gardening and living things.
I learned many things from her.
Such as...
The guy on the other side of me is "weird"...apparently the previous homeowner had complained about him watching her through the windows. I could have told you he was weird cause when Monica was over here we saw him watching pron in his living room.
The lady on the other side of Linda is an eldery woman (I can't remember her name), and she likes gardens but her (deceased) husband was the one with the green thumb.
Directly across the street from me is a woman who travels and drinks alot, her boyfriend also drinks alot...and apparently the boyfriend was arrested last year for peeing on her neighbor's bushes.
There is a couple with kids on the other side of the traveling drunk, but Linda doesn't seem them out much anymore.
The people around here are pretty nice, but other than Linda and the elderly woman next to her she doesn't talk with many of them.
Also, apparently the gravel drive wasn't there until the previous homeowners decided they were going to sell the house...and they told Linda that they'd fix the fence (two years ago), that they were going to plant trees and bushes along the property line (that now is just gravel), and also before the woman living here got married she did alot of gardening, and after that is just went by the wayside.
Additionally, Linda said they told her they weren't planning on moving for a few more years, but decided to move after a branch from the big oak tree out front fell on their house. Apparently, the person they hired to remove the branch from the tree told them that the tree was bad and should all come down. I think we'll need to get a second opinion from a tree person (a different one than the one they used). It'd would be really sad to see such a beautiful tree go, but it would be even sadder to have it fall on the house.
One other thing Linda said makes me curious about events to come, she mentioned that would should make sure to have a large garden and stockpile non-perishible foods because we'll need it later this year. She sees that something is going to happen later this year that we'll need it. She also mentioned to make sure we get some Colloidal Silver (a herbal antibiotic) from this health store that's over by Barnes & Noble.
Curiouser and curiouser...
These are our list of items that we'd like to eventually get for the house. Items in red are priorities.
| Steve's List Blu Ray Player Pencil Drawers for the Desk Cat Stuff Ladder Hammock Front Porch Swing Bigger Dresser for Steve | Connie's List Pencil Drawers for the Desk Cat Stuff Ladder Hammock Front Porch Swing More Cookie Trays Cooling Racks Rice Cooker Crock Pot End Tables for the Bedroom Curtains/Curtain Rods for Bedroom Bigger Dresser for Steve |
| Steve's List Plant pretty things | Connie's List Install two outlets in 2nd bedroom Insulate sub-floor in the entire house Fix Soffit Fix the two openings to crawl space |
Well the living room is complete thanks to Steve. I went grocery shopping right after work yesterday, so I can finally cook in my new kitchen. I still have no idea what we're going to do with the massive amount of picture frames we have....maybe the garage? I don't know. I did get all the stuff up into the attic. It's SO nice to have an attic. I love it!!
We had to go get an outdoor trashcan yesterday too....since today is trash day. Boy am I glad it's finally trash day. We'd been accumulating so much garbage it's crazy. But at least from here on out it shouldn't be this bad.
So tomorrow we're having the semesterly SLA get together at my house, and then after knitting group the girls and their hubbins are likely coming over. (Sorry Mawy you won't be able to eat the cupcakes Katie is making...all premade (white) frostings have yellow as I'm sure well you know).
Tonight I'll be cooking dinner & cleaning up the office tonight. There's really not a whole lot more to do, and I"m glad for that.
I do want to organize the garage stuffs so they're better...well organized. But that's not a priority right this second.
Also, my parents are coming up next weekend! They're bring us a dining room table. I hope to have the old apartment completely cleaned and keys turned in by then. I don't need that hanging over me. Guess sometime next week after work I'll have to go over there and clean. It won't be too terrible. Just sweep and try to steam mop, try to clean the oven, clean the bathroom and patch up the holes in the walls from the pictures and such.
Well I finished putting things away in the 2nd bedroom...and as I was doing so, I discovered a little snag in converting the closet-cabinet into an entertainment center. The complete and utter lack of any sort of power outlet inside. I have no earthly idea how hard it would be to add one (or two) power outlets to that closet (probably way harder than what I could do). So we need to try something else I suppose. I really want that to be the entertainment center though. It's so nice for that. Maybe Steve's co-worker can do it...who knows.
Today, I have to go grocery shopping and get the office/sunroom done. Steve has finished the wiring for the tv sound system, so all that's left for the living room is a few minor things. (putting up coat rack, fixing wires to the corners, cleaning up the mess Steve made from doing the wiring).
So really there's just minor cleaning in the living room, organizing of the office, organizing the garage and putting stuff in the attic.
Almost there.
I'll post pictures once everything is complete. I'm so excited to have a house. I'm so not excited to have to clean the old apartment. Seriously, they're tearing the place down in 1 year and no longer admitting people to live there next Jan. Why do I have to clean again???
Found my cell phone charger! YAY! And none too soon either, it was on its last bars and failing fast.
Dining room is as complete as it can be without an actual dining room table/chairs. For now, we have a card table. My parents are going to bring me their old dining room table (When I don't know). But I can't wait for them to visit. May 16-23 we're all going to Montana, and they can't come this weekend or the next so it will either be the weekend before the trip or later in May or June, I don't know...
We bought a lawn mower and some inexpensive outdoor furniture. So now, the lawn is mowed and there are places to sit upon our deck. :)
Tonight's task...the guest/game room. Or maybe the sunroom/office. I think Steve's plan is to do the wiring for the speakers...and to do that he's venturing down into the crawl space to route the wiring under the floors. Not my idea of a good time, but it sure will look nicer not having wires everywhere.
Also, it's cold in the morning...I think I need a few space heaters. Sure I could turn on the heat for the whole house, but I just need a few spots warmed in the morning...like the office which has no vents out here anyways.
I love this house and I can't wait to have a house warming party. ^____^
Well we've gotten all of our stuff to the house, now it's just a matter of getting everything put in place.
We have one computer fully hooked up and connected to the internets, so at least we're connected where we need to be.
I still can't find the charger for my cell phone. I know it's here somewhere, it's just a matter of locating where that somewhere is.
The bedroom is all set. (Thank you Lisa for helping!!)
I finished setting up the kitchen. I love my new kitchen. I still have a few cabinets that are empty, but that's fine....I don't know what else I'd want except another cookie tray & some cooling racks.
Today after work I'm going to work on the dining room & second bedroom. Those have to be done together as the books are spread between the two.
Wednesday I will set up the office/sunroom. It's complete chaos in here and I can't take it much longer.
Thursday, I will put the things in the attic that I want up there and also try to organize the garage sale items in the garage.
It's getting there, slowly but surely.
Also, it's really weird driving to work for a change....and I am beyond exhausted. I can't wait for the first night that I don't have major work to do.
Oh yeah, and today we MUST buy a lawn mower.
We are now officially homeowners (or mortgage payers, however which you want to see it). We closed on the house yesterday afternoon and promptly got the electricity, water & gas turned on and started moving some things in. I will continue to move as much small stuff as I can after work today, tomorrow & Saturday. Then on Sunday we're renting a Uhaul truck to move all the furniture!
For the curious here is a WHOLE lot of pictures that our realtor took the day prior to closing:

^__^
Yay!!
To those that have my email address and wish to have our new snail mail address, just let me know. To those that I have your email address, I will probably be sending out a mass e-mail letting people know our new address.
Cheers!
Once we get set up in the new house, I'll take pictures and post here. :)
So it's closing day for our new house...our first house!
I have the certified check for the title company and the insurance information in case I need it.
KUB is supposed to be coming out to the house to turn on the utilities sometime after 4pm (I hope it's actually after 5). KUB has to actually come into the house since we have gas...and we can't get into the house until after we close and get the keys to the house.
I am so friggin excited.
We have a rental truck reserved for Sunday, we'll pick it up at 10am. Anyone want to help us move?
Well, we're doing the final walkthrough of the house today. And we're closing tomorrow morning. The old owners area already moved out, so I guess that means we can begin the moving this weekend!! Steve has to work on Saturday, so I guess we'll be doing the bulk of moving on Sunday.
I'm really hoping we can get everything moved over there this weekend, then over this week get things situated then maybe (possibly) the weekend following, have a house warming party! *squee*
My first house. I'm so excited you can't even imagine.
Want to see pictures?? I'll just link you to the gallery so as not to clog up the journal: http://pics.livejournal.com/willow_drag
( house information if you're interested )
We've realized there are so many things we need to have that we don't currently have...
lawn mower, outdoor trash cans, cat & cat things, bed side tables, nice floor rugs, outdoor furniture, chiminea, another cat and more cat things, work surface for our new combined shared desk that we're going to build, and more. It's going to be fun. I can't wait!!
Eeek! We're going to look at houses today. I'm excited & anxious at the whole thing.
http://public.kaarmls.com/property/v
This on I hope we get. We're going to try and get them to come down to $119,900 (heck, maybe lower?) so that we can easily pay the mortgage payments. I love this house. We'll see how it all works out cause the people are still living there. Maybe they won't be ready to move out for a little while, which will give us time to get things paid off and get the down payment ready.
Daniel said he thought that this one was in a ghetto-y neighborhood. But we drove around the area where this house is and it looked alright. One street one way was uber-richy rich, and on the other side is a little poor, but it doesn't look bad. And the street where the house we're looking at is on is a little mixed, but not at all bad.
Also, this one and the next one are both 20 minutes away from Steve's work. So as far as commute for Steve it's about the same.
http://public.kaarmls.com/property/v
And this is one we found before the other one, and thought we'd really like. However, the bathroom appears from the pictures to be SMALLER than the one we currently have!! and that's not ok. Also, this one is on a busy street with no parking on the street. So, if we had company over they'd all have to park in our driveway...and the driveway is only big enough for 3 MAYBE 4 cars, and since we have 2 cars that wouldn't be alot of room for anyone else.
So right after work we're meeting Bob at the first (occupied) house, then going to the other (unoccupied) house.
Just for fun...here is the letter someone posted in the mail room of the apartment complex regarding the closing of the complex:
( Image under here )
SOUTH KNOXVILLE
http://public.kaarmls.com/property/v
This is is pretty much at the top of the "world"...according to Google topographic maps, the elevation is 1200 feet and this street is pretty much a ridge line along this "hill-type-mountain-thing". The city/county taxes are a bit high and there is only one way out. It's in South Knoxville, so it's somewhat in between our workplaces...and that would be a good thing.
http://public.kaarmls.com/property/v
This house looks really nice from the pictures. I love the built in shelves around the house and the kitchen is nice and new too. The bathroom is small (and there's only one), but never know we might like the rest of the house so much that it won't matter.
FOUNTAIN CITY AREA
http://public.kaarmls.com/property/v
I want to look at this one. It's near M.E., and I could probably walk to her house from here. It's in Fountain City...kinda nearish the fountain. I do love this area. It would be a bit of a drive to work, but I'd also love to live near my friends.
http://public.kaarmls.com/property/v
There aren't many pictures with this, and the map shows a cemetery across the street. The outside of the house looks cute, so I might like to see more of the inside. It's not that far to drive to get onto the highway, so it might be a good location for the commute and going to visit M.E. I checked street view on Google Maps and it's a corner lot and the neighborhood doesn't look that bad either.
http://public.kaarmls.com/property/v
Only one picture of the outside of the house, but it speaks of remodeling and new windows. It's near the one just above (with the cemetery nearby). Might like to see the inside and check it out.
http://public.kaarmls.com/property/v
HORRIBLE paint job on the inside, but that can be fixed. Kitchen needs some appliances, and the bathroom wallpaper is bad and the bathroom has some weirdness too. Not my first choice, but who knows I might like it in person.
OK...so we went and looked at neighborhoods, parking, and houses yesterday. Well we saw the outside of the houses yesterday. Don't want to look too hard until we know what we can get for a loan.
#1
http://public.kaarmls.com/property/v
Pretty area. Quiet. At the end of the cul-de-sac. I really want to check this one out. I just hope it is still on the market when we get our loan secured.
#2
http://public.kaarmls.com/property/v
Steve likes this one and it's proximity to both of our works. There is a whole lot of yard...like enough to fit another house on. The houses are far apart, and it's a quiet wooded area.
#3
http://public.kaarmls.com/property/v
Same type of house as #1, but I don't like the location quite as much. Also more expensive than #1. [have not yet looked at in person]
#4
http://public.kaarmls.com/property/v
Expensive house, but gorgeous. Wouldn't mind this if we got a loan large enough to actually get it. [have not yet looked at in person]
#5
http://public.kaarmls.com/property/v
There are a LOT of dogs around here. We would be the ONLY person sans dog. Though the big black dog that was wandering around freely was a nice dog...I don't want to have dogs barking all the time. The deck needs some major help too.
#6
http://public.kaarmls.com/property/v
OK house, but it takes up the entire lot. The roof looks like it needs work.
#7
http://public.kaarmls.com/property/v
A bit expensive. But nice yard/deck.
#8
http://public.kaarmls.com/property/v
OK house. It's huge, and the heating/cooling would a huge bill as well. Not anywhere near my first choice, but I'm still curious about the inside.
These are all from South Knoxville.
http://public.kaarmls.com/property/v
http://public.kaarmls.com/property/v
Love this one, though the neighborhood might not be the best (it's near Vestal)
http://public.kaarmls.com/property/v

First off...Steve you can't look at these until you look through them all and formulate your own likes/dislikes.
K. So our relator sent us some listings (around 60 different houses to check out) and of those these are the ones that caught my eye for one reason or another. The last one I'm not quite sure about, there are some things I really like, but others not so much. I really like the second one in this list (Though there are a few things I'd want to change about it). So of these what do you think??
